They say that sometimes, the things we are drawn to as children remain our North Star throughout our lives.

I’m not Jewish, but I have felt a quiet, persistent pull toward Judaism since I was a mere child. It wasn’t just an academic interest; it felt more like a resonance, a deep, ancient curiosity that has stayed with me through all the seasons of my life. Looking back, I wonder if it was—and perhaps still is—a longing to belong to something larger, something rooted in time, wisdom, and a profound reverence for life itself.

That is what this space,  Halevai, is dedicated to. It is not a space of expertise, but a space of inquiry. It’s a place for the “if onlys,” the musings of a curious mind, and the simple, everyday practice of cherishing being alive. I am an observer, a student of the stories that shape us, and a seeker of beauty in the quiet moments.
